The Long Island Greyhounds are always looking for dedicated athletes to join their fastpitch organization. We have established a great core
of athlete/players and are now looking for additions to this winning organization. Our mission is to create college showcase teams as the
girls develop and move up in their age bracket. The goal is to keep the teams together as they transfer into each age group. This is not an
organization that is interested in splitting teams apart. We want to train, grow and develop our players for the future.

If you are interested in trying out for one of the teams, you will be required to schedule an interview. Please click on the button below and
complete the form. Once it is received one of the coaches will contact you. Try out on August 5, 6 & 7 at Washington Ave. Park, Washington
Ave., Seaford, N.Y. 11783.

Try Out and Registration Forms: All players must complete the try out and registration forms which MUST be signed by a parent or guardian.
If you are selected for the team, you will be contacted for a call back. For information call

14u Team: All players must be no older than 14yrs old by 01/01/12

*non-refundable partial
deposit/payment for the 2011-12 Travel Softball Season.

FULL SEASON Games and Practices: All players are expected to attend
all team practices and scheduled games. We start playing in
September through Veteran's Day 2011.
We immediately head indoors to practice starting in November. We begin playing in April based on
each coaches discretion through August 2012. We have a light to moderate game schedule during the school year and during holidays.
Refer to our past schedule as an example. Please do not consider joining any team if you are
not serious about playing softball. It is not fair
to the other players.
100% focus should be on your travel team commitment. We will attempt to schedule games around school ball for
those players who are eligible in their school district. Please contact your coaches in advance if you are unable to attend any practice or
game. Practices will be a combination of indoor and outdoor depending on the weather.

Insurance: All players will be issued an insurance card valid for the calendar year.
Fundraising: All teams/players/team members will be responsible for participating in team related fundraising events. These efforts are a
direct effort to differ player expenses. Fundraising will supplement additional tournaments and associated costs outside of the scope of the
team budgeted assumptions.

Uniforms: Registration includes a complete uniform (does not include cleats), helmet, sliders, sweatshirt and practice shirt. If you would like
to purchase additional uniforms or clothing please visit the
uniform page and completing a form.

* Once your child is confirmed on the team and their uniform is ordered, refunds will not be given to any player who no longer wishes to
participate.

Thank you for your interest in playing for the Long Island Greyhounds.
